The article,"Tax Whacks Spend Power", by Robert Dominguez, is about how people are using their money now that tax is taking over their paychecks. People are trying to process the fact that tax is taking great amounts of money from their yearly paychecks causing them to have to adjust their lifestyles. Some people have been affected in good ways and some in bad ways. Unfortunately, the economy can't fix itself unless people spend money, which we are having a hard time doing because prices for things are so high now and people have less money to spend. Some people are saving up for expensive items while others are cutting down on spending money on food on a daily basis. Dominguez want me to feel upset that this is the way that we have to live. The president is trying to make this country a better place but we can't do that with high prices and no money. He also wants me to feel responsible because if we use less supplies, we wouldn't always need to refill our supplies, we wouldn't be in huge debt, we wouldn't have such a major problem with our economy now. Dominguez wants me to think that there is something that we need to plan better with our money nowadays.

I enjoyed reading this article because I could see exactly what is going on with the world in this article. For one thing, tax people are increasing their take from us which is killing our wallets. You can't expect people to have good credit if they don't have enough money to pay their bills and taking their money is not helping. Also the fact that the economy is not fixing itself. We can help fix the economy but not if we don't have enough money which we don't. This article implies a little that it is our faults that we don't have a lot of money and our faults that our world, our democracy is falling apart.

I hope that people read this article because it is important for people to know what is going on. We need to fix our money problems in advance because we will have problems later now. We are what makes up the future and we need to make it as good as possible. I know there are a lot of people who are effected by this situation. That is what they article is about.
